Print jobs: How To Have Them Cheap
Every firm that distributes posters, leaflets, sales kits, brochures, and other printed materials as a method of marketing and advertising their products and services is always searching for cheap printing jobs that provide great value. Professional print shops usually provide reasonable quotes, but you can do your part to lower down those numbers. Here’s how:
1. Consider the type of paper that will be used. That’s because lots of papers need a minimum number of sheets to be purchased. So a specific type of substrate, for instance, may not be cheap for running a small-quantity print run.
2. Order in bulk. If you order in bigger quantities, you save more money. If your business distributes 20,000 flyers every six months, print them all at once, not at the beginning of each month. If you do it in a monthly basis, you will need to spend money for the set-ups and wash-ups for each run. But if you run a large print job, you will save money per piece.
3. When designing your leaflet, take into consideration the use of existing standard ink colors. Remember that forcing the print shop formulate a special mix of custom nk colors for your job is very expensive.
4. Purchase your print job materials ahead of time. Then let the printer store it in their inventory for your future orders. For example, if you order special paper in advance, you will save money since the print shop will just pull your stock out of their inventory. They won’t have to charge you additional fees in actually looking for the needed paper through their suppliers.
5. Be specific. Do not go to a print shop company with a vague or unclear idea of what you desire or require. Always keep in mind that time is money. If you have to spend hours explaining what you want to a person in production, your fee may be adjusted to account for the additional time spent on the project. So make sure you are ready—your layout ink colors, papers, quantity needed, materials needed, and others.

Buck The World
$7.18
Put Young Buck and his mentor 50 Cent together and you get a whole lot more than the artistic equivalent of an item and a half off the dollar menu. The two of them proved it on 2004′s Straight Outta Ca$hville, and it holds for Buck the World, a disc that clamps itself to the G-Unit sound even while playing yo-yo with it. “Hold On,” Fitty’s sole contribution here, pops with the same menacing energy…

Blood Money
$5.75
After getting signed to G-Unit, the veteran Queensbridge duo of Prodigy and Havoc bragged that they were now “superstars.” Maybe not yet lil soldiers, but Blood Money is still a marked improvement over the last few MD albums. Hav and P sound surprisingly good meshing their laconically menacing style with G-Unit’s hook-heavy production. If they really want triple-platinum sales, they need more son…
