Remember Halloween With A Fabulous Office Party
Do you feel stuck at work this Halloween season? Well don’t give up. You can bring all the thrills components of Halloween with you to work, and celebrate the season with your work-mates. Find other Halloween enthusiasts you’re employed with -because you know they’re out there- and plan some Halloween weekend journeys. Look into haunted homes, horror pictures and Halloween-themed plays occurring in your area, and you will have a spread of haunted occurrences to head off to after work every week.
Throw an office Halloween party. It doesn’t have to be a costume party, but say that costumes are welcome. Send around a Halloween e-vite to everybody in the office, or print up your own design and put one in everybody’s mailbox. Have your Halloween party on the day of Halloween, or if you’re taking the day off, on the Friday before. Ask everybody to contribute a dish to get a big selection of scary treats. The day of the party, hang decorations round the meeting room or lunchroom.
Have a continuing Halloween trivialities game. Think about a query that only the true fans would know the solution to. Email it around, and the first individual to guess properly gets to pick the following question , and such like. For example, “Who was the only Peanuts personality not to dress as a spook when they went trick-or-treating?” Have a candy-counting contest. Put a jar of Halloween candy on your desk and e-mail around that whoever guesses the proper number of candies wins free dinner ( each person playing the game pitches in ). Or, whoever guesses properly gets their ticket paid for at the following haunted attraction outing.
Make your fellow enthusiasts a small Halloween treat bag. Put something fun in there like a Halloween mannequin, Halloween pens or pencils or a Halloween pez dispenser. Decorate your work station for the season. Bring in some tiny, plastic tombstones, pumpkins, autumn leaves and other displays for your desk. Velcro or tape monsters to the pinnacle of your monitor. Put some black flowers in a vase, with orange and white ribbons. Put one of your favourite Halloween photographs on your desktop or as a screensaver.
Make a “Happy Haunting” sign for your desk. If your office is found in a well-populated area, put together a small Halloween event or activity that draws people in from the town. Have an indicator in the window or a small ad in the paper that any child that comes to the office in costume gets a free Halloween toy or treat bag.
